It’s Papertrey Ink November 2023 Countdown time and I’ve got a couple of cards to share! I’m always looking for new sentiments and this release has lots of options. My cards today use the new Winter Greetings set that has a collection of large and small sentiments. I love that these sentiments can be used for the holidays but work for so much more.
I thought this sentiment was perfect to pair with the new Sweet Holidays set. I created a little scene using the goodies from the Sweet Holidays set and a “tablecloth” made using the On the Edge Scallops set. To add a bit of coziness, I add some steam swirls using the previously-released Winter Swirls stamp set.
This next card uses another sentiment from the Winter Greetings set paired with the new Winter in the City set. The Winter in the City set has a pair of footprints that works perfectly with this fun sentiment. I used the Winter in the City to create the scene with the pathway, footprints, trees, bench, and snow banks.
To add snow to the scene, I used some glittery embossing powder and splattered with white paint. To go from winter to holiday, I added Santa himself with a stamp from an older set called City Scene Christmas Sentiments.
