Happy Monday everyone! It’s Papertrey Ink August Release countdown Day 2 and I’ve got a bunch of goodies I want to share! Today we’re highlighting a bunch of fun new Halloween sets. This first card uses the Bright Night set, Just Sentiments: Spooky stamps, and Cornered: Spider Webs dies. Aren’t these little spooky lanterns from the Bright Night set the cutest?
For the background, I cut out the Cornered: Spider Webs dies and backed it with holographic paper. The holographic paper changes color which adds just a little extra detail to the card. To finish it off, I added some white ink blending and a grass die cut (Grassy Edge die).
This next card uses the Bright Night set in a different way with a light up feature! The large lantern stamp and dies made it so easy to make this interactive card. There are two dies for each lantern in this set. One cuts the front cut with the “lamp” cut out. The second die cuts the back with a full outline. In this card, I stamped the pumpkin on vellum so I could put the craft light behind it. The button for the light is accessible through the inside of the card. So…much…fun!!! (The background is the Border Bling: Joy frame and the sentiment uses the Banner Builder: Basics dies and Inside Greetings: Fall sentiments.)
This next Bright Night project is a gift card holder turned treat holder! I used the new Go-to Gift Card: Backpack dies and gave it a spooky makeover. This card holder can be used with all kinds of goodies like candy, pencils, money, and more!
Rounding out my Halloween cards, this last card uses the Witches Brew set. This set comes tea cups and a bunch of extras to add the Halloween touch like the moon stirrer, stars, and steamy swirls.
