I’ve got a couple more cards to share using the fun spring goodies from the Papertrey Ink February 2024 release! Both of these cards use the new Spring Silhouette die set. This set has a bunch of little elements that you can mix and match into sweet spring scenes. I wanted an old-fashioned Beatrix Potter kind of feel for my card, so I used some soft colors, gingham patterned paper, and a lacy frame.
The oval frame is from the previously-released Pierced Feature Frames: Oval Die set and the large frame is the Border Bling: Scalloped Frame die. The sentiment is from the Say It Essentials set.
I used the same Spring Silhouette die set in this card too but this time I used some glitter cardstock. Have you ever tried adding color to white glitter cardstock with ink blending or Copic markers? It’s a fun way to get custom color glitter cardstock. For this card, I blended green onto the grass and stems, and then used a Copic marker to color a “bud” on the stem. The sentiment is from the new Thoughts of Spring sentiment set. I used the large egg die from the Spring Silhouette die set with a die from the Love to Layer: Delightful Brackets set to create a custom frame.
