Happy weekend everyone! It’s Papertrey Ink June release time and this month is all about summer and travel!
My first card uses one of my favorite sets this month, the Go-To Gift Card Holder: Beach Bag dies! This set has the cutest beach tote gift card holder with a ton of the most adorable accessories. My tote is decorated with pom-pom trim (in rainbow colors, of course) and is filled with fun sandals, a colorful beach hat, and sunglasses. The perfect sentiment is from the new Just Sentiments: Days of Summer Stamps set.
This next card uses the new Tuck It: Travel stamps and dies. I love the Tuck It series and this new set is amazing! It has a ton of travel-related images with so much charm and detail. I stamped and die cut the 3 large images and tucked them behind the die cut “tuck it” opening. For the background, I did tone-on-tone stamping with stamps from this set and the Pack Your Suitcase stamps (we’ll see that in full later this week).
No release is complete without a beautiful flower set! This month, the Into the Blooms set is the Iris! These tall beauties are perfect for a slimline card accented on the corners with the previously released Cornered: Lace dies. The sentiment is from the new Larger Than Life: Hello stamps.
My last card today also uses the new Larger Than Life: Hello stamps but this time paired with the coordinating “hello” word die. I love the cute look of the word die and it’s perfect as a focal point on any type of patterned/colorful background. I made this background with the previously-released Cover Plate: Exquisite die weaved with paper strips in a rainbow of colors.
