It’s Day 4 of the Papertrey Ink June release Countdown and today I’ve got 2 more cards to share before the release goes live tomorrow Tuesday, June 27th at 10 PM ET! We’re continuing the summer travel themes with the new Pack Your Suitcase stamp and die set and the Pleasing Pineapple hot foil plate!
For this first card, I used the Pack Your Suitcase stamps and dies to create a variation of a box card. In this card, only the suitcase folds down flat, so that the card can be put into an envelope. When it’s open, it gives a 3D look of an open suitcase. If you want to make your own 3D suitcase, the dimensions are 3/4″ high, 3″ wide, and 1-1/4″ deep (when it’s laying flat it is 4-1/4″ wide).
The Pack Your Suitcase has so many cute elements and it was so fun putting them in my suitcase! The sentiment is from the Tuck It: Travel stamp set which is a great companion set to Pack Your Suitcase.
This next card uses the new Pleasing Pineapple hot foil to make another fun beach tote with the Go-To Gift Card Holder: Beach Bag dies. When I saw the hot foil plate, I knew I wanted to try it out as a beach tote, and I was so happy it worked out!
I also created some leather flip flops to go with my tote and backed it with a stenciled pool water background. I’ve been having so much fun with these Beach Bag dies and I have so many ideas I want to try!
