Hi there! Today is Papertrey Ink March Countdown Day 3 and I’m highlighting the new Tuck It stamps and dies and the Wildflowers Fields stamps and dies!
This is probably one of my favorite cards I made for this release. I love how Spring-y it is! I started off by stamping and die cutting all the flowers from the Wildflower Fields sets. The flowers are tall blooms and they work perfectly with the Tuck It stamps and dies. The Tuck It stamps and dies is a clever set that creates a strip in your paper that you can tuck things into. There are different Tuck It shapes (I used the scalloped one) and there are coordinating stamps and sentiments. When I saw this set, I knew it would be great for a vellum panel (no glue in sight!).
I die cut, stamped, and heat embossed the vellum (heat resistant type) panel. Then I tucked in the die cut flowers and used a tiny bit of glue. I put the vellum panel into a frame (the new Border Bling: Scalloped Frame die) and popped the whole frame onto an ink blended/sprayed card front. I love how you can just barely see the white and blue spray on the card front. The final details were some white spray, a twine bow, and some moonstone gems.
Check out the Papertrey Ink blog for more and don’t forget the release goes live on the 28th!
Aloha, jj
