Hi guys! ! It’s the first day of the Papertrey Ink May Release Countdown! We’re starting the countdown with some goodies celebrating the little ones in your life!
This first card uses the new Adorable Outfits stamp, dies, and stencils and the new Border Bling: Skinny Star Frames die. The Adorable Outfits set lets you create the cutest onesies with lots of details to add on. I created a classic onesie look and used the stencil to add a sweet little rainbow. I have some mini clothespins in my stash that I thought would be perfect to make a clothesline scene.
For the background, I used the cloud stamps from the new Little One set. I stamped and clear embossed the clouds and blended ink over them. I added the largest of die cut using the Border Bling: Skinny Star Frames die set. To finish it off, I sprayed a bit of paint mist and added some raindrops. I like that this card design can be changed up depending on the recipient (like two onesies for twins or onesies with boy or girl details).
This next uses another set geared for welcoming and celebrating little ones! The new Little One set is filled with dreamy details like clouds, stars, and the moon. Reminds me of a sweet nursery theme! For my card, I wanted to make the adorable “BABY” sentiment in the set. I love how the letters are designed to hang, and I hung mine from a die cut cloud. The background was made by using two dies from the previously-released Love to Layer: Notched Die set. I created a negative space that I backed with some colorful strips of cardstock. A simple, but still colorful, card design!
