The Papertrey Ink September 2023 Release is live and I want to share some of the cards I made with this amazing release! My first card uses a gorgeous new set called Serene Sleigh. This set is so sweet and when I saw it, I knew I wanted to use soft pinks and minty greens with it.
To go with the cool pinks and minty green, I added silver accents with silver rhinestones and heat embossed silver on the “metal” elements like the sleigh rails, lanterns, and bell. The sentiment is from the new With Great Joy Sentiments set which has stamps that you can mix and match together. I love the larger scale and handwritten font in this set.
This next card uses the new Psalm Reflections: September stamp and die. This psalm inspired me to create a starry background with blended inks and splattered white paint, water, and gold spray. Then I added multiple frames in gold cardstock over the background in a very loose pattern. This is a fun way to get more from your frame dies.
My last card today uses the new Cornered Christmas Bouquet dies. This time I used the corner dies side-by-side to create a semi-circle design. Using the dies on the edges gave me lots of room to add a sentiment label in the middle with lots of die cuts. I used the new Into the Blooms: Christmas Sprigs dies using white cardstock, vellum, and white glitter paper. The label is from the previously-released Love to Layer: Lovely Bracket Die and the sentiment is from the Just Sentiments: Holiday Tags Mini Stamp Set set. If you look really closely, you’ll see that I also used the previously-released Cover Plate: Quilted die.
