So excited about this month because we’ve got more foil plates! For me, hot foiling gives me that same kind of feeling of awe that I experienced when I found heat embossing and die cutting. I’m still learning and experimenting with hot foil and it’s been so much fun!

This first card uses the new Sunburst foil plate. This plate is just plain gorgeous! One of these days I’m going to learn how to photograph foil, but you can see in this pic the beautiful pattern of this plate.

I hot foiled it and then cut out the scalloped oval (previously-released Lacy Ovals Dies). That pattern just looks so pretty on that die cut! Then I added the Layered Tulips from last month and a foiled sentiment using the Subsentiments Hello foil plate. The dotted panel background is from the Designer Template 2 set. Here’s a better look at that foil background!

The next card uses the same Sunburst foil plate with a whole different feel! The sentiment is from the new Hey There foil plate set that has 3 different sentiments for every day.

Last but not least, my final card today uses the Organic Florals foil plate and stencil. I had lots of fun making this next card with the rainbow colors and more GOLD! As the name implies, this set is more free-flowing style flower and has a stencil that adds abstract coloring as you can see below. The final look is very modern and artsy.

Here’s a better look at that lovely foil! To finish the card I added a frame (made with the previously-released A2 Lacy Layers Die) and a sentiment (Essential Sentiments Diecut Sheets – Gold Foiled).
