Hi again! It’s Day 3 of the Papertrey Ink February Release Countdown and we’re highlighting new stamps and dies Elegant Eggs, Feathered Friends Mini 20, and Inside Greetings: Spring Blessings!
Today, I’ve got two cards and they could not be more different! This first card is very CAS with the little freshly hatched chick. The chick is from the new Feathered Friends Mini 20 set and he is so cute! I die cut one of the eggs from the Elegant Eggs set, spritzed it with paint and mist, and then hand cut it open. I used the new Grassy Edge along the bottom and cut a panel using the previously-released Love to Layer: Torn Edges Die. The sweet sentiment is from the Just Sentiments Spring Blessings set.
This next card is not so CAS 😆! When I saw the Elegant Eggs set, my mind definitely went to Fabergé eggs. So I die cut my egg with gold foil and blue glitter cardstock. The stand is from the previously-released Darling Stands set, and as you can see, the egg fits perfectly in the curls of the design. (Sorry for the wonky picture! Still can’t take a good pic of foil!)
I added the gold frame (Border Bling: Skinny Vees Frames), stitched background (Border Bling: Tin Stitch Die), and some lots of gems. This picture shows the detail a little better.
This time I kept the sentiment off the front of the card with a sentiment from the Inside Greetings: Spring Blessings set.
