Hi everyone! I’m running late this week, so today is a two-fer for the Papertrey Ink July Release! Today I’m combining some cards for Countdown Day 2 and 3! Let’s get to it!

For Countdown Day 2, I have a highlight of the new Eucalyptus Elegance stamps and Just Sentiments: You’re On My Mind stamps. Eucalyptus leaves are so elegant and graceful and are so versatile when it comes to cards. The Eucalyptus Elegance stamps are layered, and the result is so lovely! The stamps are so beautiful on their own, so I just added a little bit of edging with cardstock (Ocean Tides) and a little bit of holographic cardstock. Such as easy card to put together.

For Countdown Day 3, I have a few cards featuring the new Cover Plate: Flutter die, Tag-Its: Mini stamps and dies, and the Crafting Queen stamps and dies. This first card uses the Cover Plate: Flutter die. This cover plate is one of my faves this release! It is so beautifully detailed and is great for quick cards. For my card, I backed the cover plate die cut with a piece I made using rainbow alcohol inks. To save time and mess, I usually make my alcohol inks a few at a time. As an added detail, I inlaid die cut pieces in black cardstock into the “background” sections. This just made the butterflies pop!

This next card uses the new Tag Its: Mini stamps and dies with the Wispy Tree die that you saw earlier this week. Those little tags were just crying out to be “rainbow-fied” and are perfect ornaments for the Wispy Tree. The Tag Its: Mini stamps has lots of options for sentiments, and it was easy to mix and match messages to go together.

Last but not least, this card uses the Crafting Queen stamps and dies. This set was meant to coordinate with the previously released Baseball T die, and I love the combo! The sentiments in the Crafting Queen set are so relatable and this one is my favorite. The set also includes a number of crafty accessories which I put on display in my card “craftroom”. I used one of the square dies from the Penciled Outlines set to create a bookshelf that looks like the Ikea bookshelf that is a favorite amongst us crafters. I added the tape dispenser, scissors, and twine spools (all from the Crafting Queen set) and added some faux stacks of colored cardstock using strips of paper. So much fun to make!

Hope you’re enjoying the countdown! To see more, head on over to the PTI Blog for peeks from the other designers! Come back tomorrow for more from the July release!

Aloha, jj
