The Papertrey Ink March 2024 release is live and it’s full of lovely things for spring cards! Probably my favorite is the new Into the Blooms: Big Bloom dies! The scale of this flower really fills a card front and I love that! The large size makes it perfect for techniques such as a bridge card, which is exactly what I did! All my die cuts were ink blended, splattered with water and white paint spray, and then highlighted with coarse glitter.

The sentiment is the new Mother’s Day Sentiments stamps and dies. When making bridge cards, it’s fun to also float the sentiment on the bridge with a die cut or label. Bridge cards are so fun because you get that dimension while still being able to fold it into an envelope.

This next card uses the same Into the Blooms: Big Bloom dies but with a totally different style! This time, I sprayed each die cut piece with a different Distress Oxide spray and then assembled it. I put it on a black background splattered with white paint and heat embossed with the sentiment. Same dies with a completely different look!

This next card uses another beautiful flower set from this month’s release, the Always in Bloom Stamp Set. This layering stamp set is drop dead gorgeous and so easy to use! I used it to create a full background with a subtle shaker on top. The sentiment is from the Mother’s Day Sentiments stamps set which I stamped and then clear heat embossed on vellum. The oval frame is from the older Pierced Feature Frames: Oval Die and the sweet bow is from the Wrap-it Ribbons Die set.

My last card today is a simple one with lots of punch! I paired the new Reflections: March stamp with the Watercolor Wonderful Stencil Collection. The stencil set gives you perfectly “imperfect” watercolor shapes and splatters. So easy to create a loose, flowy background with these stencils. Then all you need to add is a bold sentiment like the Reflections: March stamp.

That’s it for me today, but there’s lots more goodies on the Papertrey Ink site! Thanks for stopping by!

Aloha, jj
