The Papertrey Ink May 2022 Release is live and I just wanted to share a couple more cards to share using the new goodies!
This card uses the new Patriot Dies set. Obviously this set can be used for all kind of Americana-themed occasions, but the dies can definitely be used for so much more! Like for a Christmas card, for instance 😉 This set has the cutest little classic farm truck and that totally made me think of the Farm Fresh Trees set from last year. The trees from that set are the perfect scale to pair with the truck!
For the background, I created a frame with the Love to Layer: Torn Edges Die and backed it with a snowy scene (using Ocean Tides ink and white mist). The framed background helps ground the die cuts on the card and adds a little extra depth. The sentiment is from the previously-released Sentiment Staples: Christmas Mini Stamp Set. This was so much fun to make!
My last card today more goodies from the new release with a patriotic theme. This card uses the new Feathered Friend Mini 23 stamp and die set, USA dies, Wood Plank Background stamps, and Celebrate Freedom stamps. I used the USA die outline to create a negative space frame. Perfect for placing a sentiment and highlighting a die cut. For the background, I stamped the Wood Plank die twice, side-by-side to get a different look. I love how this card is rustic but still clean and simple.
