Welcome to the Waffle Flower February 2023 Release Blog Hop! This month, we’re looking towards Spring with lots of goodies for Easter and warmer days! Let’s get to it!
My first card uses the new Organic Frame die paired with the new Happy Easter Duo set. The Organic Frame cuts a flowy, natural shape that is perfect for all your flower and leaf cards. The frame set also includes some cute little flowers that I used to dress up my frame.
Behind the frame I backed the largest opening with a background that I created with the Happy Easter Duo set and Slimline Cloud Stencil.
My next card uses the new Woven Pattern die to do a technique that I love doing, paper weaving! The woven pattern design mimics a basket weave pattern, but the design is perfect for weaving paper strips. I went to my stash of paper strips (die cut using the Skinny Stripes die) and just followed the woven design.
I finished the card with the Oversized Hey Hi Hello dies. I love the way the strips look, but I also love how the color peeks out from behind the die cut. So fun!
