It’s Papertrey Ink August 2023 Release Countdown time and this month is all about Fall! And I’m here for every little bit of it! This first card uses the new Spooky Halloween stamps and dies. I thought I’d freshen up the usual Halloween color palette with a bit of soft pink, and it was so much fun! Another fun element in this card is the “checked” border. The checked border is actually a strip of striped patterned paper (Smokey Shadow Bitty Big patterned paper). Love this little easy trick!
Speaking of non-traditional holiday colors, how about rainbow pumpkins? This card took only 3 stamps and would make a great card to mail (minus the rhinestones;). The pumpkin is the perfect scale to create a custom background. I wanted to keep with the fun feel, so I randomly stamped the sentiment instead of keeping them perfectly spaced.
This last card uses the new Farm Fresh Pumpkins stamps and dies. Love this little truck! And all the details in the set are perfect. For the background, I used one of my new favorites, the Watercolor Plaid stencils. (I also used the previously-released Border Bling: Scalloped Frame and the Love to Layer: Beautiful Bracket dies).
This card also has a surprise with a hidden sentiment! Just fold down the tailgate to reveal a sentiment from the new Give Thanks set. I always love adding a little unexpected detail!
