Welcome to Countdown Day 2 of the Papertrey Ink October release and I’ve got a couple more cards to share with the new goodies! This first card features the latest in the PTI Vase series, Vase Collection 13! This set also includes the cutest grapevine decorative balls that coordinate perfectly with last month’s Tiers of Cheer set. Together with some branches from the Vase 12 set, and you’ve got a fun little tablescape!
To add a little extra to the background, I used the new Geometric Snowflakes Stencils just around the edges. The beautiful sentiment is from the Larger Than Life: Believe Sentiments set. It’s always fun to do a holiday card with non-traditional holiday colors!
My next card features the new Into the Blooms: Gardenia set and the Fanciful Snowflakes Background Hot Foil Plate. Gardenia’s are a favorite of mine and remind me of home (Hawai’i). I hot foiled the background and then blended lots of Hawaiian Shores blue over it. Even though the hot foil plate design is technically a winter design, it’s great for any time! The final touch is the sentiment from the previously-released Just Sentiments: You’re on my Mind set.
